Application Fraunhofer Photonica Summer School

Application for Fraunhofer Photonica is now open. The application deadline is May 15, 2024 (5pm CEST).  

If you are interested in participating, please fill out the application form below. You will then receive an email in which we ask you to confirm your interest. As a next step, you will be asked to upload your application documents.

Please prepare and submit the following documents as one pdf file. We ask you to name the pdf file as follows: LASTNAME_FIRSTNAME_Application_Photonica2024. The maximum file size is 2 MB.

• a scan of your transcript of records (if currently enrolled as a student) or your latest degree (if currently not enrolled)
• a short CV (1-2 pages)

Criteria for the application procedure:

Please note that the focus is on students who are currently not working and have not worked for one of the Fraunhofer ”Light and Surfaces” institutes yet.

• Proximity of study topics to summer school topic
• Quality of Application letter
• Grades in studies 
• Public and Scientific Engagement

We expect successful applicants to provide proof of planned arrival and departure, for example in the form of a train ticket, within four weeks of acceptance.
